the “Wear Away” segments are limited to the toe-guard, quarter foxing, and the heel. It appears that the lace collar, ankle padding, and Swoosh remain a flat black hue. Based on these photos, it’s not entirely clear if the shoes arrive treated beforehand to give the worn-away appearance, or if they’re all black in order to give the wearer their own opportunity to erode the upper paint.
