Description
Converse celebrates 50 years of the Stonewall riots which also coincides with the 50th anniversary of PRIDE. It was that rebellious protest back in 1969 that brought about a new era for the LGBTQ+ movement. Now, almost five decades later, and that passion for equality and self expression is stronger than ever.
The Converse 2019 PRIDE Collection also arrives as a homage to individuals within the current LGBTQ+ community. Each one of the six uniquely crafted shoes celebrates the modern heroes of today’s fight for equality.
This design pulls inspiration from the PRIDE flag with multi-coloured detailing that travels along a nylon crafted upper. It’s made even more unique with that print hitting the midsole as well as the underneath of the shoe. To complete the look, a print of the dates, “1969 to 2019” is visible at the heel. Choose from a range of matching apparel as well as several other limited-edition creps.
