This is Converse and Lay Zhang’s first collaboration together, inspired by the authentic dance experiences during Lay’s early career. The small pocket on the side of the shoe is a nod to his practice of tying sandbags to his feet, and the glow-in-the-dark sole symbolizes his perseverance in practicing alone in a dark dance studio. Follow the spark in your heart to a place beyond your imagination.
